Solving for X
Student asks: How do I solve x^2-3x=4?
Solution: Move the 4 to the left, then factor x^2-3x-4=0
(x-4)(x+1)=0, the set each factor equal to zero and solve. x-4=0, x+1=0 x=4 or
x=1
